Dr Yaozu Liao received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science from Tongji University, China, May 2011 under supervision of Prof. Xin-Gui Li, having spent two years working with Prof. Richard Kaner and Prof. Eric Hoek at UCLA and California Nanosystems Institute (CNSI). He immediately joined the University of Shanghai for Science & Technology as a lecturer after he graduated. Yaozu was appointed as a vice-director for Shenzhen Industry Park Office by Xiangyang Government, China, July 2012. He joined the Faul Research Group as a Marie Curie Research Fellow (IIF) in July 2013, focusing on conjugated microporous polymers for gas and energy storage, and catalyst applications.
