Sam obtained his MSc degree in Chemistry at the University of Bristol. He conducted his masters project in the Faul lab where he worked on developing stretchable and flexible components for 3D-printable supercapacitors. He is currently working jointly with Charl Faul and Alastair Lennox to develop 3d-printable materials for use as electrodes in organic electrochemistry.

During his spare time, he enjoys socialising with friends and playing football.
