Safa Al Siyabi was born in Muscat, Oman. She obtained her BSc in Applied Chemistry from the Higher College of Technology in 2012. One year later and from the same institution she got a scholarship to study her MSc degree at Bradford University, UK. In 2015 she re-joined the same college, but this time as a lecturer (and not as a student!).

Safa is a recipient of a scholarship from the National Program for Post Graduate Studies. She joined the Faul Research Group in Oct 2019 as a PhD student. Her work will focus on redox-active polymers for carbon dioxide utilization.

In her free times, she enjoys helping her family in businesses they own in addition to travelling and reading.
