Helal Alharbi, from Saudi Arabia, was awarded a bachelor’s degree from the College of Sciences at Buraydah from Qassim University, Saudi Arabia, in the field of Chemistry. He then worked at a pharmaceutical company, SPIMACO, as QC analyst in the quality department for four months, before joining Qassim University as a teaching assistant. He then pursued a master’s degree at East Tennessee State University (ETSU), specialising in organic chemistry. with focus on diazonium N-(perfluoroalky)benzenesulfonimide polymers for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFCs). Helal’s PhD project will focus on the synthesis and characterisation of novel perylene supramolecular polymers.
