Dauren was born in Ust-Kamenogorsk in the East of Kazakhstan. In 2013 he graduated with a BSc degree in Chemistry from the al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Almaty. He finished his Master of Engineering Sciences in The Chemical technology of Inorganic Substances at the same university in 2015. During his studies he was awarded a scholarship of academician Usanovich M.I.
After his studies he worked at The Institute of Metallurgy and Ore Beneficiation on the project “Depletion method of metallurgical slags”. From 2017 he worked as an engineer at the commercial laboratory ALS KazLab, which provide services to the gold ore industry.
He was then awarded a prestigious “Bolashak” scholarship to study at the University of Bristol. He is currently a MSc(r) student in the Faul Research Group. His dissertation work is development of conjugated microporous polymers for energy storage applications. He like playing football, basketball and just spending time outdoors far away from urban bustle.
