Sakshika is a PhD student in Chemistry at the University of Bristol, funded by the prestigious UKRI Doctoral Landscape Award. Her academic journey is anchored by an M.Phil in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, funded by the competitive Master’s Scholarship from th Government of India.

​She brings a unique blend of industrial and academic expertise to the group, having served as a Material Testing Engineer at Impact Solutions Ltd and a Research Fellow in wearable technology at Nottingham Trent University. Her current research is focus on development of next-generation functional materials for wearable sensors in association with the VivoHub.
