Julia is currently working towards her MSci Chemistry with Industrial Experience degree at the University of Bristol. During her degree, she completed a placement year at AstraZeneca, working on trace level detection of N-nitrosamines in phase III pharmaceuticals.

She is currently working in the Faul Group aligned with the emPOWER project, investigating soft thermal actuators.

In her spare time, Julia enjoys playing football, surfing and camping.
