Aya Abdo is a materials science CoSEM CDT PhD researcher focused on developing advanced materials for hydrogen storage. She graduated from University of Bristol, with a BSc in Pharmacology and a MSc in Biomedical Sciences Research.
Her current projects brings together chemistry, mechanical engineering, sustainability, and materials science, aiming to enable cleaner and more sustainable transportation technologies. Her work focuses on the synthesis and optimzation of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) integrated with polymers to form composites capable of storing hydrogen efficiently for automotive and aerospace applications.
