Adéla was born and raised in Tabor, Czech Republic. In May 2023 she received her master’s degree from the University of Chemistry and Technology (UCT) in Prague. Following this, she joined the group of Prof. Jiri Brozek at UCT Prague as a PhD student. Her main research focus is in the application of polymers as biomaterials. Adéla previously was employed at Prusa Research in Prague, where she developed polymeric materials for filament manufacturing for 3D printing. Other roles held include biocompatibility testing of polymeric materials in Biocev, Prague
In September 2023 Adela joined Prof. Charl Faul’s group as a PhD visiting student for an internship of one year. She is working within the emPOWER project.
In her spare time, Adela enjoys playing volleyball, jogging, bouldering and hiking.
